DETAILED SAFARI PROGRAMME

Day 1, WELCOME TO KENYA

A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our Guide and transfer to Palacina Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

Enjoy breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, thereafter you will depart North through the Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your Camp. After a lovely lunch you will then proceed for an afternoon game drive where we will see animals such as the reticulated giraffe, the pin stripped Gravy Zebra, the Gerenuk, the Blue Necked Somali Ostrich, Elephants, Leopards and The Black Manned Lions. Dinner and overnight at your chosen Lodge

Day 3, SAMBURU

Pre-breakfast game drive followed by a hearty breakfast thereafter morning at leisure to enjoy the facilities offered by the Camp. After a lovely lunch you will depart for an afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight at your chosen Lodge.

Day 4, SAMBURU TO OL PAJETA

After a hearty breakfast you will depart and proceed to Sweetwaters Tented Camp, home of the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we will enjoy a lovely lunch followed by our first game drive in Kenya. We will see Lion, Elephant, Buffalo and many other plains game and if we are lucky even Leopard.  Dinner at the Camp followed by an optional Night Game drive which is bookable only at the camp. Overnight at the Camp.

Day 5, OL PAJETA TO THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for Lake Lake Naivasha which is the magnificent lake in the Great Rift Valley and it’s also a home to 400 species of birds. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake your chosen Lodge. After a Lovely lunch you can take a trip on the lake to see Hippos and bird life. Dinner and overnight at your chosen Lodge

Day 6, THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY TO MASAI MARA

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for the fabled Masai Mara National Reserve. The enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migrations and its home for the big five Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Arrive in time for lunch at your chosen Lodge/Camp. After a lovely lunch now we will depart for an afternoon game drive to see the game of savannah. Dinner and overnight at your chosen Lodge/Camp

Day 7 & 8, MASAI MARA

A relaxed rise followed by a hearty breakfast and thereafter with 2 full day game drives with picnic lunch to see the varied game of the Masai Mara. This region is the Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Optional visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at your Camp

 Day 6, HOMEBOUND

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for Nairobi. On arrival into Nairobi you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.

• Personal Travel or Trip Cancellation insurance
• Any other items not mentioned in the above
• International Airfare or Visa Fees including flights to Zanzibar.
• Please note that bottled water in Safari Lodges and Restaurants is subject to payment.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Payments are required as follows unless otherwise agreed

50 % deposit upon confirmation of the Safari if booked more than 90 days in advance. Balance payable 60 days prior to arrival. In case the Safari is booked within 59 days, full prepayment is required at the time of booking. All Bank Charges are to be borne by the clients or agents.

Cancellation Policy

The following Cancellation policy is applicable

89- 60 days                                          20 % Penalty

59- 45 day                                            33 % Penalty

44- 30 days                                          50 % Penalty

29- 15 days                                          75 % Penalty

Less than 14 days                             No refund at all.
