Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel by our company guide. However, if your arrival time happens to be early in the morning, you will immediately start the safari by traveling to Jinja for white water rafting on the mighty Nile River. The drive to Jinja passes through different towns which gives you an encounter with the activities of the people as they carry on with their daily lives.

This adventurous activity is carried out on the mighty Nile River. River Nile is the longest river in the world that starts from Uganda-Jinja running up to the Mediterranean sea. Your visit to Uganda and particularly Jinja will give you a physical attachment to this iconic world feature.
After breakfast, embark on this memorable safari by driving North West of Uganda along the Kampala Gulu High way to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and later to Murchison Falls National Park.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is endowed with over 22 Re-introduced White Rhinos. The Rhino tracking exercise begins with briefing from a specialized site ranger and thereafter you proceed to track the Rhinos. This activity normally takes between 30minutes to an hour depending on where the Rhinos are located within the sanctuary. Your time at the sanctuary will offer you an opportunity to learn more about the White Rhinos and will give you memorable experience about Rhinos in Africa.
This third day of your Safari gets you to encounter with the natural establishment of Murchison Falls National Park. You begin your exploration of the park with a game drive in the northern circuit of the park. This game drive will certainly avail you with the chance to see various animals which among others include; lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, Hartebeests, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees and many bird species.
In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls where the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge of 7 meters wide and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes.
After docking at the bottom of the falls, you will hike to the top of the falls which might take you roughly 30 minutes or slightly more. Also, warthogs, Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits during the drive.
After lunch, it is the fascinating time for the Classic highlight of the 2 hours boat-cruise on the famous Kazinga channel- a 36km channel connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. On the banks, you will certainly see water and land Adapted Hippopotamuses yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the Crocodiles gaping along the Banks and the Savannah versions of Pigs- the Warthog.
This day starts with opportunity to encounter with Man’s closest cousins-chimpanzees in the forest of Kalinzu. The activity starts with briefing where instructions on how to track chimpanzees are passed on.
Chimpanzees are the closest relatives to humans sharing about 98.7% of their DNA composition with humans. They are sociable, intelligent as well as communicative and among their very interesting traits are their abilities to utilize tools like rocks for crushing nuts, empty pods for hollowing out water plus sticks for capturing termites from their holes. A successful track of the chimpanzees will give you beautiful lasting memories about Uganda.
After this expedition, you will have lunch and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest for yet another memorable highlight of this safari.
Reach and relax at your hotel/lodge in preparation of the next day’s highlight.
This day will begin by assembling at the briefing point for guidelines about this amazing activity. After briefing by the specialized site ranger, you head to the forest. The trekking duration is determined by the position where the gorillas spent the night and their feeding range.
Once the gorillas are found, you’re allowed to spend an hour with them. You will enjoy this memorable experience as you stand just few meters from the gorillas watching them feed; play and even watching them bond with their young ones. You will be amazed at how these creatures have so much resemblance with human beings. After this activity, you will relax at your lodge and if not exhausted, you will take an evening walk around the community for souvenirs.
You will start this day that concludes this safari with breakfast and then after check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Kampala.
Along the way, you will enjoy Uganda’s country side which is abundantly blessed with eye catching sceneries such as the hills, vast banana plantations and herds of the indigenous Ankole cow grazing on the road sides. Surely, your journey will be filled with moments of memorable exposure to nature.
When you reach Mbarara town, you will have lunch at Igongo cultural center. While here, you will enjoy a short cultural expedition about the Banyankole tribe of western Uganda. This expedition will certainly enrich you with an insight about the traditional and current cultural set up about the people of Ankole.
Also, stop and take in a visit to the Equator that runs through Uganda. It’s marvelous to have pictures taken underneath the Equator Sign.
