Day 1: Kigali city tour, transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Get up and have breakfast as soon as possible. If you arrive by plane, the driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby or at the airport. Before taking you on a tour of Kigali, the guide will give you a briefing and go over the basics of the four-day trip. The city trip will allow you to experience Rwanda’s change since the 1994 tutsi massacre. Kigali is well-organized, clean, and growing rapidly. Before going souvenir shopping, pay a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Presidential Palace Museum. Before visiting the Volcanoes National Park, have lunch at the ONOMO Hotel. While driving to the park, keep an eye out for Rwanda’s beautiful scenery, which includes rolling hills and green tea plantations.
When you get at your accommodation, the driver will give you some time to recover, shower, and relax before transporting you to the Gorilla Guardians Village, which is located close. It began as a modest center where former poachers could sell artisan products to tourists, and it was renamed the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village. It has since been renovated to become one of East Africa’s most important cultural centers. You can enjoy traditional dance performances or visit one of the traditional huts while you’re at the Centre. For excellent shots, you may be asked to dress up in traditional attire and handle a spear.

Day 2: karisimbi hiking
Distance of hiking 4,000 meter ascent hike
Wake up to a delicious breakfast, your driver shall arrive at 9 a.m. to take you to the park headquarters in Kinigi for registration. While at the park’s main office, You’ll get a briefing on what to expect and work on your endurance for the two-day hike. Before being driven to the Hike’s starting location, you will be assigned Guides and Rangers, as well as other hikers. Keep in mind that you’ll be accompanied by a group of porters who will assist you in setting up camp and cooking meals. Mount Karisimbi hikes begin at 10 a.m. The walking stick, packed lunch, drinking water and camping equipment will be provided. Before reaching the peak, a camp will be built up where you will have dinner before sleeping in a tent for the night. We’ll also arrange for porters and a chef to prepare meals for you while you’re on the mountain.

Day 3: karisimbi hiking

Singing birds will wake you up. you shall take an early breakfast before continuing your climb to the peak of Mount Karisimbi. Your perseverance will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery and vegetation. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, you will be able to witness the Volcanoes National Park with its lush green forest and a clear view of seven Virunga volcanoes, including Mount Nyiragongo. Virunga National Park, Rwenzori National Park, Bwindi National Park, and Mgahinga National Park are also noteworthy sites. It’s time to descend after seeing these incredible vistas. When you get at the beginning location, the tour-guide will take you for lunch and a rest before taking you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of Uganda’s most popular tourist sites.

Day 4: from bwindi to Kigali
Get up early for a delicious breakfast and make sure you have a packed lunch from the lodge. Our guide will accompany you to the park’s registration and briefing. In Bwindi Forest Park, there are 11 habituated gorilla families. Depending on your general fitness and preferences, you will be allocated to a gorilla family. Mountain Gorilla tracking can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorilla family and where they are on that particular day. Request a porter for a cost of roughly $15 if you need assistance with extra bags. Mountain gorilla tracking is a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife adventure. It can’t be compared to a typical safari. You’ll be looking at species that most closely resemble and behave like humans. Take as many shots as you can once you’ve met these incredible creatures. Follow the wardens’ and guides’ directions. Only one hour with the gorillas will be allowed. Remember that your safety and security are guaranteed when you’re among mountain gorillas or in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Return to the resort for checkout and ride back to Kigali after spending an hour observing the primates. If you have a late flight, the driver will drop you off at a hotel in Kigali or at the airport.
