DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our designated VIP Meet & Greet Lounge Host who helps you through a fast-track assistance with VISA and luggage collection. After immigration and bag collection, you will then be handed over to our driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2:  KIGALI CITY TOUR

Following a relaxed breakfast at 09h00, you will be picked up by Heritage Safaris driver guide who will drive you for 20Minutes to Kigali Genocide Memorial to commemorate the 1994 Tutsi Genocide where the remains of over 250,000 people are interred.

 After lunch at 14h00, you will then indulge yourself in a sightseeing tour around Kigali city including visits to kimironko local market. After your sightseeing tour, you will return to the hotel for a relaxed evening and dinner whilst utilizing the complementary offers at the hotel.

DAY 3 : TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK – CANOPY WALK EXPERIENCE

Today at 06h30 (After breakfast), you will be picked up by Heritage Safaris driver guide will ensure you take the Covid-19 PCR test before transferring to Nyanza for the King’s Palace heritage tour. After Lunch (12:30 PM), your driver guide will take you through a scenic drive to the Canopy Walkway experience (of+2hours) in Nyungwe National Park. You thereafter drive to your Lodge.

DAY 4: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING

On this particular day at 05h00, you be picked up by a driver guide who will drive you to Cyamudongo visitor reception center for a briefing undertake on the chimpanzee trekking activity and spend 1 hour with them taking photographs and videos. You will return to the lodge at around for Lunch and thereafter spend the whole afternoon at leisure whilst utilizing the hotel amenities.

DAY 5: CROP TO CUP TEA TOUR – TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

On this particular day at 07h00, you be picked up by Heritage Safaris driver guide who will drive you to a nearby tea plantation/factory, experiencing the “crop to cup” tea tour. Later at 10h00, your driver guide will ensure you take the Covid-19 PCR test before embarking on a 3-hour scenic drive to the Volcanoes National Park as you enjoy the beautiful views of the rolling hills and green vegetation. Upon arrival, you will check in at Lalocanda followed by an evening at leisure utilizing the hotel amenities.

DAY 6: ULTIMATE GORILLA TREKKING 

This is a day like no other! A day that you’ve been waiting for! Up until this day, you’ve been building up the momentum to meet the famous endemic mountain gorillas. Your day begins with breakfast at 6:30 am, then head to the park reception for briefing at 07h00.  Thereafter, you will be guided through the Virunga jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas. You will have 1 hour after meeting the gorilla family. You will get full briefing of their family formations, background, and observe their life style in their own habitat and family setting. After this mind-blowing activity, you Will return to the lodge for lunch followed by a relaxed evening and dinner whilst utilizing the complementary offers at the hotel.

DAY 7: GOLDEN MONKEY TREK – TRANSFER TO KIGALI

After breakfast at 07h00, you will be picked up by a Heritage Safaris driver guide who will drive you to Kinigi park offices. At around 7:30am you will get briefing about Golden Monkeys Trekking code of conduct before heading out to the golden monkey trails. You are granted 1 hour of observation after which, you will head back to lodge for an early lunch. After lunch you will be picked up by a Heritage Safaris guide for a scenic drive to Kigali for Souvenir Shopping at a selection of key shops including Kimironko market.

DAY 8: DEPART FROM RWANDA & ARRIVAL IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at 07h00, our driver guide will drop you off at Kigali International Airport for outbound flight to Kilimanjaro Airport. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be assisted and transferred to departures lounge to connect to your local flight to Serengeti National Park. You will meet your guide on arrival at Seronerar Airstrip then transfer to Tortilis Serengeti Camp to freshening up followed by lunch and later depart for afternoon safari.

DAY 9: MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today at 06h30 (After breakfast), you will be picked up by your driver guide who will drive you to the park gate for a full day game drive through Serengeti National Park.

Situated in the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti encompasses the world-famous Seronera Valley which is known for its prime wildlife-viewing opportunities. This picture-perfect landscape is characterized by endless stretches of savannah-covered open plains, interspersed by rocky outcrops of granite, scattered with acacia woodlands and covered in a network of rivers and streams. The Central Serengeti forms part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval and much more. DAY 10: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

The day will start with early morning breakfast then full day game drive through Serengeti National Park. Lunch, dinner and overnight will be at Tortilis Serengeti Camp

DAY 11: TRANSFER TO ZANZIBAR

On this day, after breakfast at 08h00, you will depart for Arusha Airport to catch your onward flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 12: STONE CITY TOUR – COAST OF ZANZIBAR

Today at 08h00 (After breakfast), you will be picked up by your driver guide who will lead you into the stone town tour. You will follow the trail of the sultans, slaves and explorers in the winding streets of Stone Town. Your guide will tell you about the events that shaped Zanzibar, leading you through the buildings where it all happened, such as the former Slave Market and Anglican Cathedral, the House of Wonders and the Sultans’ Palace Museum, the Old Arab Fort and Dispensary. Later in the afternoon at 14h00, you will be transferred to the coast of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening at the beach.

DAY 13: RELAXATION AND MADE IN ZANZIBAR TOUR

Following a relaxed breakfast at 10h00 overlooking the Indian Ocean, you will spend you day at Leisure enjoying sunbathing seated in the sea sand whilst utilizing complementary activities offered by the hotel.

DAY 14: DEPARTURE- OUT BOUND FLIGHT

After breakfast, our guide will transfer you to the airport for connection to your outbound flight. This will mark the end of your holiday!
