If you are looking for an adrenaline-pumping adventure, then you have come to the right place. There are numerous activities in and around the Source of the river Nile and the country that will get your adrenaline pumping. These include white water rafting, bungee jumping, quad biking, Kayaking and many more. Bungee jumping
Free-fall from a tall structure into the Nile is an adrenaline-pumping experience that will challenge your fear of heights. This dive is 3 kilometers upstream from Bujagali Falls and offers spectacular views of the Nile River and forest canopy. Adrift specializes in tandem and water touches.
White Water rafting
The river Nile has spectacular grade 5 rapids which are considered the wildest yet the safest around the world. Rafting in Uganda offers amazing grade 3, 4 and 5 rapids with amazing scenery as you go down the Nile. You are briefed and given the necessary guidelines before embarking on the adrenaline filled adventure. You are equipped with helmets and life jackets and safety boats are available to pull you out of the water when you are tossed out by the rapids.
Hot Air balloons
Hot air ballooning in Uganda can only be found in the Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Murchison Falls National Park. This activity is a great way to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon. You get to explore and enjoy the savannah grasslands from the air. The hot air balloon safari is a flight that takes place at 7:00 am in the morning and 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Only eight passengers are allowed to fly in the balloon. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted to fly.
Abseiling
In Uganda, abseiling is only done at the Sipi falls in the Eastern part of the country. Here, you are harnessed to sturdy structure and repelled down a 100m waterfall. As you slowly abseil alongside the falls, you will enjoy the views of the lowlands and the thrill of the safari activity.
